A limited number of rooms have been set aside for us at the Embassy Suites by Hilton Chicago Schaumburg Woodfield, which shares a (large) parking lot with the VCFMW hotel and is within walking distance (there may also be a shuttle bus between the hotels for those unable to walk and/or burdened by a 21" CRT.)

The room cost is the same as at the Marriott and, as of this writing, there are King and dual-double rooms available. The booking link for the block is here. If you need to call the hotel for anything related to VCFMW booking, our block is under "Chicago Classic Computing."

The Renaissance Marriott hotel is most likely FULL. We know that Friday is for sure. You may still be able to book Th/Sa/Su nights. If you have an existing reservation that has not yet been moved into our block (please do this as it helps us meet our obligations to the hotel and should also save you money), or any other problems with your block reservation, you can call Group Housing at 847-303-8167 (M-F 8-4) and mention "Vintage Computer Festival."

VCF Midwest 19 will be held at the Renaissance Schaumburg Convention Center in Schaumburg, IL.

Rooms at the attached Marriott hotel are $179/night (fancy suites are $219). Our block covers Thursday through Sunday nights (9/5-9/8) and can be booked with this link.

NOTE: The dates of the show are SEPTEMBER 7-8. Friday will be dedicated to infrastructure setup and exhibitor load-in in the latter part of the day. Unless you are an exhibitor or vendor, there is no need to book Thursday night or be in the convention center on Friday.

Of course you are welcome to book anyway and tour beautiful Schaumburg, Illinois! But there will be no show to see until Saturday 9am.
